Standard rain water diverters may allow dirty water to enter the tank and catch all the extraneous matter including leaves etc that flow from the roof gutter and down pipes when it rains and can block the screens and stop the water flowing into the tank.

This view shows a section view of the new Four in one screen that is a leaf diverter, water diverter, light guard and a tank screen all in one. It’s even interchangeable with standard tank screens – just set and forget; the screen will do the rest.
